Back in 1971 my wife Kathy and i went to Florida and on our way to the keys we stopped off in Miami to visit my uncle ben who used to play trumpet with my fathers band who was playing trumpet with little wally
so he took us to wallys bar and i met him and had a few drinks he talked me into jamming with him and uncle ben at the bar it was the first time i played honkey because i was playing eastern style with Bernie Witkowski, wish i had pictures or a tape of the session but never did wally was a great host and got my wife and myself very intoxicated we started about 4pm and played till 6am i had a ball
