Join some of your favorite Chicagoland Jammer IJs, along with special guests, for a special Father’s Day broadcast this Sunday, June 16th, from 5-6 pm ET (4-5 pm CT). We are excited to present Buffalo’s Seven Polka Band making their Chicago debut during the Club 505 Reunion Party.
Club 505, once known as Chicago’s, and arguably the world’s, top polka nightspot, was opened in 1946 by Walter and Josephine Mlynarczyk. It was located at 13505 South Brainard Avenue in Hegewisch, a southeastern corner of Chicago, until its closure in 2011.
This broadcast will take place at Steve’s Lounge & Hall, located at 13200 S. Baltimore Ave, just down the block from the original Club 505. You can join us in person or online at polkajammernetwork.org/wpjndb.com. The hall doors open at 2:00 pm this Sunday.
